Job Description

In order to appoint personnel on a contract basis in the posts of Anesthesiologist and General Surgeon in the UNDOF Mission, Syria, Level-1 (+) Hospital (Peacekeeping Service) as well as in UNSMIL Mission and United Nations – SGU missions in Nepal.

And to deploy them for the duration of the mission, applications are invited from eligible Nepali citizens through open competition as per the qualifications mentioned below.

From 2082/09/06 to 2082/09/20, at the Nepal Army Central Recruitment Selection Center, Swayambhu.

Application Fee

Application fee of Nrs. 1,000/- (One Thousand) must be deposited under the examination fee at Nepal Bank Limited, Account No. 00101000000001001001 (Office Code:- 345013513, Revenue Heading No. 14224)

The original voucher and one photocopy must be submitted along with one application form.

Required Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• Anesthesiologist: Must have passed MD in Anesthesiology.
• General Surgeon: Must have passed MS in Surgery.

Minimum Physical Standards

• Male: Height 5 feet 3 inches, Chest 32-34 inches, Weight 50 kg (110 lbs).
• Female: Height 5 feet, Weight 40 kg (88 lbs).

If Use Of Glasses

Eyesight must not be weaker than ±2 diopters.

Other Qualifications

Must not have been convicted by a court in any criminal case, must not be a member of any political organization and must not have been convicted for violations of human rights or international humanitarian law.

Age Limit (As Of The Last Date Of Application)

Male: Must have completed 18 years and not exceeded 45 years.

Female: Must have completed 16 years and not exceeded 45 years.

Required Documents To Be Submitted

Photocopies of the following documents must be self-attested by the candidate and submitted 1 copy each in a Nepali file. Temporary or duplicate certificates will not be accepted. Original documents must be brought at the time of application submission.

For Anesthesiologist

• Nepali citizenship certificate.
• Provisional/Original certificates, character certificate, and transcripts of MBBS and MD (Anesthesiology).
• Nepal Medical Council registration certificates for both MBBS and MD (Anesthesiology).
• Experience Certificate: Minimum of two (2) years of progressive practice (after receipt of NMC Specialist License) in the specialty before immediate deployment.
• For degrees obtained from foreign boards or universities, an equivalency certificate from Tribhuvan University must be submitted.
• Police Clearance Certificate.

For General Surgeon

• Nepali citizenship certificate.
• Provisional/Original certificates, character certificate, and transcripts of MBBS and MS (Surgery).
• Nepal Medical Council registration certificates for both MBBS and MS (Surgery).
• Experience certificate: Minimum of two (2) years of progressive practice (after receipt of NMC Specialist License) in surgical specialty before deployment.
• For degrees obtained from foreign boards or universities, an equivalency certificate from Tribhuvan University must be submitted.
• Police Clearance Certificate.

Photographs

Recently taken photographs with full facial view (both ears visible) on a white background must be affixed to the application form.

• 2×2 size photo – 1 copy.
